To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee Wow. Not until it finished did I realise that I was settled and snug and in love with this book. I formed such attachments and admirations to and for the people. Scout is the kind of girl I'd love to have as a sister or a daughter, Jem is complex and mysterious and HUMAN, and Atticus is humanity at its best. Atticus is one of the purest, most decent and morally and ethically sound people I have ever come across. As a whole the book as unlike any book I have ever read, and has made me feel things that I hadn't yet through books. So beautifully written! Unlike any style I have seen, and I am in love with it. Unique, beautiful, simple, tragic, sad, real and lovely. Harper Lee is a brilliant person, and I thank her for such a masterpiece.
